You will be downloading directly from other pages
and FTP sites, and as such, you should be sure to check ANY software
you download for viruses. I suggest you purchase Norton AntiVirus for Mac, but a high quality
freeware application exists and it's called Disinfectant.

The lights flash in the background while you continue to work; it's not just a
screen-saver! The "bulbs" include Valentine's Day hearts, standard Christmas tree
lights, chili peppers, stockings, holly, snowmen, happy faces, and more. Holiday
Lights also includes cheery background music (if you wish) and built-in festive
screen savers to put you in the holiday spirit. The program is a standalone, so you
don't have to worry about extensions or control panel conflicts. High-quality background
music requires Apple's QuickTime 2.0 or later and QuickTime Musical Instruments, both
of which are available free online from Apple.
- MacShare comments: Useful? No. Fun? Yes. I like it a lot at
Christmas time. It helps get me in the spirit of the season. I've found it

Over the last eight years, it has had an accuracy rate of 60-70 percent in predicting the weekly winners. It can also project ahead and tell you who is most likely to make the play-offs and who'll win the Super Bowl! With Pro Predictor, you have an encylopedia of NFL facts right at your finger tips. It keeps a myriad of statistics for each team, each division, each conference, and the entire league. After the author has entered the scores, the betting line (for registered users), the yardage stats and any injury adjustments, He uploads Pro 1999 so you can download it above.
- MacShare comments:Download this. Try it. Then, register it and get the full version which is even better. I love this software!! And I've been using it for 3 years in order to track my favorite team; The K.C. Chiefs. Under the "Gun", I think you'll see a much better team this year. Watch out Denver... Fully compatible with MacOS 8.5!!!

- MacShare comments: This is a wonderful program. Worth the shareware
fee, every penny (and then you'll want to buy the CD Pro version, which has even more wonderful things to look at. Imagine zooming in on another Galaxy!). You really need to look at this one. I can't say enough good things about this program. Warning: Downloading this will hook you forever on the stars.

hear them play without buying expensive sequencers or drum machines.

WaveWindow
- Version Number: 2.7
- Revision Date:June 11, 1997
- Byte Size: 153K
- License: Shareware
- Homepage
- WaveWindow is a software oscilloscope. Very useful for anyone who
works with sound on the Macintosh, educational, and fun to play
with. It displays sound visually on your screen in real-time.
Several different modes, including dynamic color waveforms.
- MacShare comments: The best thing about WaveWindow is that it gives
you access to an order form where you can obtain ChromaTuner. If you are a
musician, looking for a good chromatic tuner, ChromaTuner is great. To use
it, you just need a Mac, a compatible microphone, and a $12 shareware fee.
Mr. Laidman, the author, will send you a disk with ChromaTuner included.
It is every bit as good at tuning your instrument as the $100+ Korg tuner
at the music store.

sometimes Weather Grok may not be able to get the current weather exactly when you wish.
- MacShare comments: I like this. A lot. It's easy to use, and the best part is that each time it's updated, it gets better. Fun, useful, and FREE.
